Goa to Implement National Education Policy in All Schools by 2028
Goa is getting a new education plan called the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020!
The government plans to have it in all schools by 2028.
Right now, it's already being used in the non-technical colleges for higher education.
The plan is being put in place based on advice from education leaders.
Teachers are also getting special training to help them with the new plan.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in all schools by 2028.
NEP 2020 is already implemented at the undergraduate level in all non-technical colleges in Goa.
The implementation follows directives from the Ministry of Education, UGC, NITI Aayog, and recommendations from the Chief Secretaries' Conference.
Block-level training programs for teachers have been organized to align with NEP.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also holds the education portfolio.
