Modi inaugurates five redeveloped Tamil Nadu railway stations

Narendra Modi opened five improved railway stations in Tamil Nadu.

The stations are Ambasamudram, Palani, Namakkal, Paramakkudi and Vellore Cantonment.

They were upgraded through a national plan to improve railway stations.

The work includes better waiting rooms, platforms, parking and signs that help passengers find their trains.

Ramps, lifts and accessible toilets are also part of the improvements.

The upgrades are intended to make stations easier and more comfortable to use.

The article says 26 of the 77 stations in Tamil Nadu included in the scheme have now been redeveloped.

It lists 51 others that are planned for redevelopment.
