Srivari Vaidya Seva Expands Specialist Care at SVIMS
A programme called Srivari Vaidya Seva is helping patients at SVIMS receive advice from specialist doctors.
One visiting doctor was Dr Hari Shankar B.G.V., who treats cancer patients.
He worked in the Surgical Oncology department for three days.
He examined patients and discussed possible cancer operations and treatments.
He also shared his knowledge with SVIMS doctors and students.
The programme is meant to help patients, especially people from poor families.
