Zoho's Vembu Advocates Social Media Ban for Young Children

Zoho's Vembu Advocates Social Media Ban for Young Children

Sridhar Vembu, the co-founder and former CEO of Zoho, suggested that India should ban social media for young children.

He believes this would help children read physical books, play outside, and avoid the negative effects of social media.

This idea came after France passed a law banning social media for children under 15.

People on social media had different opinions.

Some agreed that social media is addictive and harmful, while others thought the government should not control what children do and that social media can be useful for learning and creativity.
