Modi Visit Boosts Bhutan-India Ties, Inaugurates Hydro Project

The leader of India visited Bhutan and together with the King of Bhutan, they opened a big new electricity project that uses water power.

This project will make a lot of clean energy, helping Bhutan have even more green power.

India also promised more money to help Bhutan build more energy projects and will help connect Bhutan's towns to India's train system.

They also agreed to work together on health and clean energy.

This visit shows that India and Bhutan are good friends and want to help each other grow.

Bhutan is a small country between India and China, and it tries to be friends with both, but it is more comfortable with India's help.

India is also making sure its own defenses are strong, which is something Bhutan notices.
