Forensic Professor Plans to Publish Review of Epstein Autopsy

Forensic Professor Plans to Publish Review of Epstein Autopsy

Jeffrey Epstein died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Officials concluded that he died by suicide by hanging.

A forensic professor named Michael Freeman has studied records from the autopsy.

He plans to publish his research and present his findings at University College London.

Epstein’s brother, Mark, says the review makes him believe the death should have been investigated more deeply.

Freeman’s review points to missing scene photographs and a ligature that was not preserved or examined.

He also studied images of injuries and the original death certificate.

Freeman has not yet shared his final conclusions, so the review has not established a different cause of death.
