National Lok Adalat Reunites Couple After 22-Year Matrimonial Dispute
A husband and wife in Bhopal had been involved in a legal dispute for 22 years.
They agreed to live together again after reaching a compromise in court.
The couple married in 2004 and has two sons.
One of their sons is already married.
The National Lok Adalat helped settle their case and 147 other matrimonial cases.
It also resolved thousands of other pending and pre-litigation cases.
These included traffic, cheque, electricity, and bank-recovery matters.
Families and other parties received awards totaling Rs 88.68 crore, according to the report.
