Railways Approves Final Survey for 3 New Bengal Projects
The government has decided to do a final check for building three new train routes in Bengal.
The first route will connect Siuri to Nala, passing through Rajnagar and Bakreshwar Dham, making it easier for people to travel between these places without relying on roads.
The second route will connect Arambagh to Khanakul, which is the birthplace of a famous person, Raja Rammohan Roy.
This will help people travel faster and more comfortably.
The third route will connect Rasulpur to Jangalpara, providing a new path for trains to avoid going in circles.
This will make travel quicker and easier for everyone.
These new train routes will help people move around more easily and support the growth of the regions they pass through.
Ministry of Railways sanctions final location survey for three new railway lines in Bengal totaling 178 km.
Siuri – Nala line (73 km) will provide direct rail connectivity, tapping intermediate blocks like Rajnagar and Bakreshwar Dham.
Arambagh – Khanakul line (27 km) aims to improve connectivity and promote regional development in Hooghly.
Rasulpur – Jangalpara line (78 km) will enable avoiding engine reversal and provide an alternate path for short-lead passenger and light freight trains.
New railway line connecting Mathnashipur to Jangalpara as block station on Tarakeswar – Arambagh Section to be constructed.
