India's Service Sector Activity Reaches 10-Month High in June
In June, India's service sector, which includes things like businesses and finance, did well, reaching its best level in 10 months.
This was because more people bought services, leading to an increase in new orders and business activity.
The service sector also kept hiring more people.
Even though it cost businesses more to operate, they were able to charge more for their services.
However, businesses were a bit less sure about how things would go in the future.
India's Services PMI reached a 10-month high of 60.4 in June.
New orders and business activity increased, driving the PMI upward.
Employment in the sector rose for the 37th consecutive month, though the pace slowed.
Input cost inflation eased to a 10-month low, but output charges remained elevated.
Confidence in future growth decreased slightly.
