Maharashtra Government to Formulate PoP Idol Immersion Policy
The Maharashtra government is working on a new rule about what to do with statues made of Plaster of Paris (PoP) after festivals.
The court told them to make a decision based on what experts say.
They need to have this rule ready before July 23rd because big celebrations are coming up in August.
The court previously said it's okay to make and sell these statues, but they can't be put into natural water without permission.
