Russian Ambassador: War Can End If NATO Wants, Cites US and UK Involvement
A Russian ambassador named Denis Alipov said that the war in Ukraine could stop right away if other countries like the United States and those in NATO decided to.
He believes that soldiers from the US and UK are actually helping Ukraine fight, not just Ukrainians.
He said that even the advanced weapons Ukraine uses are controlled by people from NATO.
The ambassador feels that Ukraine is being used like a game piece by other countries who want the war to keep going.
He also mentioned a former UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, for stopping Ukraine from making peace a while ago.
Alipov explained that Russia felt worried as its neighbors joined NATO and that Russia wanted to talk, but no one listened.
Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov claims the war in Ukraine could end immediately if NATO and European nations agreed.
Alipov alleged that British and United States armed forces personnel are operating Ukrainian Patriot air-defense systems and long-range missiles.
He stated that Ukraine is being used as a pawn by principal supporters including Britain, France, and Germany.
Alipov criticized former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson for allegedly dissuading Ukraine from signing a peace deal.
