BTC to Verify Government Land Before Issuing Pattas
The newly formed Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) is preparing to check who lives on government-owned land in certain areas.
They will use 200 retired people to do this.
After they finish checking, they will start giving out land certificates (pattas) to the rightful owners.
The BTC also plans to talk to the Chief Minister about hiring more people and will make sure each voting area has one development block.
