Call My Agent! The Movie revives the original series’ charm

Call My Agent!

The Movie brings back characters from the French television series.

The former agents meet again while working on a movie set.

Andrea is trying to become a filmmaker and directs a survival thriller.

She hires Laetitia Casta and Vincent Macaigne to star in it.

Noemie helps produce the film, but she has changed since the series ended.

Andrea does not know that the two lead actors have a past together.

A crisis then threatens the movie shoot.

The film keeps the show’s jokes, showbiz satire and relationship problems.

Camille Cottin and Laure Calamy are highlighted as especially compelling performers.

The movie is available on Netflix.
