Govt. Revises Dress Allowance Rules for New Employees
The government is changing how it pays for work clothes (Dress Allowance) for its employees.
Instead of everyone getting the money in July, those who start working later in the year will get a smaller amount based on how many months they work until June of the next year.
So, if you start in December, you'll get money for seven months.
This new rule helps those who join the government after the usual payment date get their share sooner.
Revised guidelines for Dress Allowance disbursement have been announced by the Ministry of Finance.
The revision addresses concerns regarding employees joining after the annual July payment.
A pro-rata system for Dress Allowance will be implemented for new employees.
Employees joining after July will receive a proportionate amount of the allowance.
The allowance amount will be calculated based on the number of months worked until the following June.
