Mumbai Police Probe Alleged ₹12.37 Lakh LED TV Fraud

Police in Mumbai are investigating a former delivery worker named Aliyas Moda.

He is accused of taking new televisions out of packages and putting old ones inside.

The televisions were meant for customers.

Police say at least 25 televisions were involved, worth ₹12.37 lakh altogether.

Some customers noticed damaged packages and refused to accept them.

The company checked its warehouse records and security-camera footage.

Another worker allegedly gave Moda customer locations and delivery times.

Moda was dismissed, but police said no one had been arrested yet.
