Mumbai EOW Registers Forgery Case Against Businessman, Four Others
Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing has opened a case against businessman Sudhir Walia and four others.
The complaint was filed by Vijaykumar Mohanlal Parekh.
It concerns companies connected with the Parekh and Walia groups.
The complaint says a company joined a business consortium without proper permission.
It also says some corporate documents may have been forged.
Another allegation concerns the transfer of shares worth about Rs 125 crore.
Investigators are checking the documents, digital signatures and money trail.
No one has been arrested so far.
