Gill Maintains WTC Final Hope After Sri Lanka Draw

India wanted to win all two Tests against Sri Lanka, but the second match ended in a draw.

Sri Lanka batted strongly on the final day to avoid losing.

Sonal Dinusha scored another century and helped his team survive.

India had made 503 runs before dismissing Sri Lanka for 290.

India then asked Sri Lanka to bat again, but the bowlers could not finish the job.

India is currently fifth in the World Test Championship standings.

The team needs to win at least six of its next seven Tests to control its chances of reaching the final.

Captain Shubman Gill still believes India can qualify if it plays well against New Zealand and Australia.
