Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and Octavia Spencer Win First Emmys

Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and Octavia Spencer Win First Emmys

The Creative Arts Emmys gave several performers their first Emmy awards on Saturday.

Bad Bunny won for producing and performing in his Super Bowl halftime show.

His show won seven awards, more than any other Super Bowl halftime show.

It was also the first Spanish-language program to win the top live variety-special award.

Sabrina Carpenter won for helping make and perform in The Muppet Show special.

That special won four awards in total.

Octavia Spencer won for narrating a true-crime series called Lost Women of Alaska.

Her victory meant Sir David Attenborough did not become the oldest Emmy winner.

Bad Bunny, Carpenter and Spencer are now each halfway to an EGOT, although their paths differ in the awards they already have.
