Geojit Names Jones George MD as Founder Becomes Chairman
Geojit Financial Services is changing its top leadership.
C J George, who founded the company, will become Executive Chairman.
Jones George will become the new Managing Director on October 1, 2026.
Jones has worked at Geojit since 2013.
He helped lead its digital transformation and overseas business for non-resident Indian customers.
The company’s board approved the change as part of a long-term succession plan.
C J George said Jones would bring new ideas while respecting the company’s values.
Jones said Geojit would focus on technology, quick decision-making and better customer relationships.
The company also plans to keep its physical offices across the country.

Jones George joined Geojit in 2013, became Chief Digital Officer in 2018 and Executive Director in 2021.
