Gujarat HC upholds transfer of Amreli school principal

Gujarat HC upholds transfer of Amreli school principal

A school principal in Gujarat named Jaman Sheladiya was accused of treating students differently based on their community and caste, encouraging communal feelings, and having fights with his wife at school.

The government decided to move him to a different school to make sure the investigation into these accusations is fair.

The principal didn't agree and went to court, but the court said the move was necessary to protect the students and ensure a fair investigation.

The court also mentioned that the principal and his wife's fights, sometimes involving weapons, were affecting the students' mental health.

The villagers were so upset that they threatened to close the school, which would have hurt the students the most.

So, the court decided it was right to transfer the principal.
