IndiGo Raises Infant, Baggage And Passenger Service Fees

IndiGo has increased the prices of several optional flight services.

The fee for taking a baby under two years old on a flight is now Rs 3,000 instead of Rs 2,000.

Babies do not receive their own seats and must sit on an accompanying adult’s lap.

Children travelling alone may use IndiGo’s service if they meet the age rules, but that service now costs Rs 5,999.

Extra baggage on domestic flights also costs more for each additional kilogram.

Priority check-in and boarding now cost Rs 650 together.

Travel certificates have also become more expensive.

Passengers may need to bring documents such as age proof or unaccompanied-minor forms.
