Parliament Adjourned Amidst Protests Over Bihar Voter List
Imagine the Parliament is like a school where important decisions are made.
On Thursday, things got a bit chaotic.
The people who represent different groups in the school (Opposition) were upset and wanted to talk about how they choose who gets to vote in a place called Bihar.
Because they weren't getting to talk about it, they made a lot of noise, so the leaders had to stop the meeting.
Even though the school head told everyone to be polite, the meetings stopped in both the main room and another room where the grown-ups were talking about other important things.
Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha adjourned due to Opposition protests.
Opposition demanded discussion on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter list in Bihar.
Lok Sabha disruptions occurred during discussion of Goa Bill.
Speaker Om Birla expressed concern over members' conduct.
Rajya Sabha adjourned during Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill discussion.
