CJP Backs KPSC Candidates, Urges Teachers Stay Off SIR Duty
The Cockroach Janta Party visited four government schools in Bengaluru.
The visits were part of a campaign called School Thik Karo.
The group said many teachers were away doing SIR work instead of teaching classes.
It said this could make learning harder for children.
CJP also reported dirty toilets and too few cleaning workers.
The group discussed these problems with Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa.
CJP also supported students who say there were problems with a KPSC veterinary officer exam.
The CID is investigating those allegations.
The Cockroach Janta Party expressed solidarity with candidates affected by alleged KPSC recruitment exam irregularities.
CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka said more than half of teachers at several Bengaluru schools were assigned to SIR duty.
The group reported poor toilet conditions, shortages of cleaning staff and broader infrastructure problems at government schools.
Ranka said CJP discussed the concerns with School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa, who reportedly assured the group that action would be taken.
The CID is investigating alleged irregularities in the KPSC veterinary officer recruitment exam, including examination records and OMR sheets.
