Mysore Royal Family Prays at Tirumala
The Mysore royal family, Dr Pramoda Devi Wadiyar and Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala on Thursday.
They offered prayers and participated in traditional rituals, including the Pallavotsavam, which celebrates the birth anniversary of the Maharaja of Mysore.
The temple officials welcomed them and arranged special darshan and pujas.
The deities Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, and Bhudevi were taken in a procession to the Karnataka Choultry, where the royal family and government officials performed traditional rituals.
