Employees praise CM for OPS implementation

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has been praised by government employees and teachers for implementing the Old Pension Scheme (OPS).

This scheme provides financial security to thousands of state government employees who were previously under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).

The government has also extended OPS benefits to employees and teachers who were recruited through the 2004 notification but joined service later due to technical reasons.

The government has addressed issues such as delays in Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears and medical reimbursements.

The Chief Minister has also enhanced teachers' salaries to match those of revenue department employees.

Government employees and teachers were urged to support the government's developmental agenda and contribute to achieving the vision of 'Swarnandhra' by 2029.

The previous government was criticized for poor governance and disrespectful treatment of teachers.
