BRS Relies on Local Leaders for Municipal Campaign
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has decided that local leaders will lead their campaign for the upcoming municipal elections instead of the party's top leaders.
They will appoint special in-charges and observers for each municipality.
The campaign will focus on the Congress party's broken promises and the issue of district removal.
Meanwhile, K Kavitha, who is forming her own political party, criticized KT Rama Rao for being inaccessible to local leaders while in power.
KT Rama Rao dismissed these claims, stating that meeting with local leaders is a regular practice.
The exchange also included discussions about the identity of Secunderabad and its status within the GHMC.
BRS top brass, including K Chandrashekar Rao and KT Rama Rao, will not participate in the municipal campaign.
Local leaders and cross-district MLAs will manage municipalities, with one in-charge and two observers appointed per municipality.
