Rajasthan Approves Bill for Disturbed Areas
The government of Rajasthan has approved a new law to help keep the peace in certain areas.
These areas, which have seen fights and unrest, will be called 'disturbed areas'.
In these places, people won't be able to buy or sell property without permission from the local government.
This is to prevent more fights and keep the balance of different groups of people in the area.
The law will be discussed in the next meeting of the Rajasthan government.
The government also approved other important policies and plans for big meetings between parents and teachers.
Rajasthan's cabinet approved a bill to designate certain areas as 'disturbed' due to demographic imbalance and unrest.
The bill aims to control property transfers in these areas, requiring approval from authorities like the district magistrate.
Areas affected by violence, mob unrest, or 'improper clustering' can be declared 'disturbed areas'.
The bill will be tabled in the upcoming budget session of the Rajasthan Assembly, starting January 28, 2026.
Law Minister Jogaram Patel announced the approval after the cabinet meeting, along with other policy decisions.
