Governor's Gold Cup Football Tournament to Feature ISL Teams and Local Talent
A big football competition called the Governor's Gold Cup is happening in Sikkim from November 16th to 29th.
This year, it's extra special because some of the best Indian soccer teams, like East Bengal, will play.
Also, five local teams from Sikkim are joining so that young players from the area can show off their skills.
To make sure local players get a chance, teams have to play at least five Sikkimese players for the whole game.
The games will be at the Paljor Stadium and some will be played under bright lights at night.
This tournament is important because it helps new football stars get noticed, like Bhaichung Bhutia did a long time ago.
The 41st All India Governor’s Gold Cup International Football Tournament will take place from November 16 to 29.
