Light of Life Trust Lists on BSE Social Stock Exchange

Light of Life Trust is a nonprofit organization that helps children and families facing poverty.

It has joined the BSE Social Stock Exchange.

The trust is raising ₹1.27 crore through a special type of bond.

People who buy these instruments do not receive principal or interest as a normal bondholder would.

Instead, their money supports social work.

The funds will help 420 children in Bihar and Jharkhand with education and development.

The smallest application is one instrument worth ₹1,000.

Trust officials said the exchange may help them reach more donors and show clearly how they use money.

The trust has worked in education, healthcare, livelihoods and sustainable development since 2002.
