100th Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in Pune
The 100th big meeting about Marathi literature will happen in Pune.
It's a very special one because it's the 100th time.
The first meeting was in Pune a long time ago in 1878.
The government will help make this meeting extra special.
They will give money to old leaders who ran the meeting before.
There will also be a big meeting about world literature in Dubai next year.
Many writers and people who love Marathi books will come to Pune for this big event.
The 100th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan will be held in Pune, organized by Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad.
The first conference was held in Pune in 1878, organized by Justice Mahadev Govind Ranade.
Government will support the event, with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde pledging assistance.
Former presidents of the conference will receive an honorarium of Rs 1 lakh each.
A World Literature Conference will be organized in Dubai next year as part of the centenary celebration.
