Kishan Reddy Urges Telangana for Metro Progress

A big boss in the central government, Mr. G Kishan Reddy, wrote a letter to the chief minister of Telangana, Mr. A Revanth Reddy.

He asked the chief minister to quickly take over the first part of the Hyderabad Metro from a company called L&T.

This is important because the central government has already said yes to expanding the metro, called Phase-II.

But before that can start, the state government needs to finish taking over Phase-I.

Mr. Kishan Reddy wants the chief minister to send officials to a special team that will help with both taking over Phase-I and planning Phase-II.

He also wants the takeover process to be done quickly so that the plans for Phase-II can be sent to the central government.

The metro is a big project that helps people move around the city more easily.
