Three Cheetahs Released in Kuno

On International Cheetah Day, three cheetahs, including a mother named Veera and her two cubs, were released into the wild at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh.

This makes the total number of free-ranging cheetahs in the park 19.

The cheetahs were released in the Parond Forest area, which is a special place for tourists.

The government will use special tools to track the cheetahs to keep them safe.

The Prime Minister of India praised the efforts to protect cheetahs.

There are now 32 cheetahs in Madhya Pradesh, with 29 in Kuno National Park and 3 in another wildlife sanctuary.

The cheetahs were brought from Namibia and South Africa three years ago as part of a project to bring them back to India.
