Engineer Builds AI System to Automate Truck Dispatch

Truck dispatchers traditionally use phone calls and paperwork to find jobs for trucks.

This can take independent truckers many hours each week.

Aswin Chandrasekaran helped create a company called Hey Bubba to automate that work.

Its AI can call brokers, discuss prices, reserve freight, and help with invoices.

The company says over 2,000 trucking fleets use the system.

Chandrasekaran says negotiating loads is one of the hardest parts to automate.

Before Hey Bubba, he founded an AI company called Tessact and worked in education technology.

In 2026, Google recognized him as a Google Developer Expert in Cloud AI.
