NSE IPO Could Deliver ₹16,500 Crore Shareholder Gains

The National Stock Exchange is planning to sell shares to the public through an IPO.

Some existing shareholders will sell their shares in this process.

They bought many of these shares at very low prices.

If the IPO price reaches ₹1,785 per share, the sellers could receive about ₹17,035 crore.

Their original investment was only about ₹534 crore.

This means their estimated total gain could be nearly ₹16,501 crore.

State Bank of India is expected to make the biggest gain.

The number of shares being sold has been reduced from the earlier proposal.
