NIMAS Team Summits 20 Unclimbed Ladakh Peaks In 23 Days
A 20-member team from the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports climbed 20 mountains in Ladakh.
None of these peaks had been climbed before.
Every peak was higher than 6,000 metres.
The team completed the challenge in just 23 days.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh flagged off the expedition in New Delhi.
He praised the climbers for being brave and determined.
He also praised their technical skills and teamwork.
The expedition was described as a major mountaineering feat.
