Delhi Government Partners With Private Sector for Urban Makeover
The Delhi government wants to improve spaces that are currently messy or not being used well.
It has joined with private organisations to carry out the work.
One project will improve a 2.5-kilometre area under a flyover.
Workers will add plants, grass, fences and colourful artwork to the flyover pillars.
The artwork will focus on protecting the environment and using clean energy.
Another project will improve green areas beside Mathura Road and MP Road.
These areas will receive plants, walkways, lights and other public facilities.
The government says the changes should make these places cleaner, safer and more pleasant for people.
The Delhi Public Works Department signed MoUs with private organisations under a public-private partnership model.

Dixon Technologies and the Vrikshit Foundation will beautify 61 flyover pillars covering about 5,100 square metres.
