Trump Presses India for Trade Deal with Reduced Tariffs

The US and India are trying to agree on a trade deal.

The US wants India to open its markets more and lower tariffs.

India is not willing to do that yet, as it wants to protect its own farmers and get some benefits too.

If they can't reach a deal by the deadline, the US might put tariffs on Indian goods.

Both countries are negotiating to get the best outcome for themselves.
