Malaysia School Launches Global Drone Arena for Student Talent
Sri Bestari Private School in Malaysia has opened a special arena where students can learn to fly drones.
They can play drone soccer and practise flying around obstacles.
Futurise helped create the arena through its drone sports programme.
The school’s Drone Hero Programme started in June 2026.
Students learn about technology, coding, physics, engineering and teamwork.
They also practise solving problems and competing fairly.
On 6 August 2026, they held their first internal drone soccer competition.
The programme is meant to help young people build skills for future technology careers.
Futurise said its wider programme has already reached more than 10,000 participants.
Sri Bestari Private School in Cyberjaya launched a purpose-built Global Drone Arena for drone soccer and obstacle-based activities.
The arena was developed with Futurise through its National Academy for Drone Sports Excellence programme.
The Drone Hero Programme began in June 2026 and offers structured workshops in drone technology and drone soccer.
Students held their first internal drone soccer competition on 6 August 2026 after progressing through training.
Futurise said AKSADRON has reached more than 10,000 participants, trained over 2,000 students and engaged more than 20 stakeholder organisations.
