Journalist Faces Ghaziabad Road-Rage FIR, Calls Case Planted

Journalist Abhishek Upadhyay is facing a police case about an alleged road-rage incident.

He said the incident happened near Shipra Mall in Ghaziabad on August 18.

According to him, a motorcycle touched his car.

He said the motorcyclist then called the emergency number 112.

Police later registered a case at Indirapuram police station.

Upadhyay said officers came to his home on August 20 and that his car was taken away.

He believes the case was created because of his reports about alleged corruption in Uttar Pradesh.

Police had not publicly explained their side when the reports were published.
