Rotoris Raises $3 Mn for Premium Watch Venture
Rotoris is a new watch company that just got $3 Mn from investors like Nikhil Kamath and Venture Catalysts.
They want to make really nice watches like the ones from Switzerland.
The company is started by people who have done other businesses before.
They plan to sell their watches online and open a store in New Delhi.
The watches will come in five different styles.
India's watch market is growing fast, and Rotoris wants to be a big part of it.
The money they got will help them make the watches, set up their stores, and hire new people.
Rotoris raised $3 Mn in seed funding co-led by Nikhil Kamath, Venture Catalysts, and 100Unicorns.
The startup aims to disrupt the premium analogue watch market with Swiss-level standards.
Founded by Aakash Anand, Prerna Gupta, Anant Narula, and Kunal Kapania, Rotoris plans to launch five watch collections next month.
The funding will be used to deepen manufacturing capabilities, expand supply chain, and open a store in New Delhi.
India's watch market is projected to reach $4-5 Bn by 2025, with the D2C market expected to hit $300 Bn by 2030.
