BJP MP accuses Punjab government of attacking media freedom
Bansuri Swaraj, a BJP MP, said the Punjab government is trying to stop the media from reporting bad things about Arvind Kejriwal.
She thinks the government is using its power to punish a news group called Punjab Kesari.
She compared this to what happened during the Emergency, a time when the government controlled the media a lot.
Swaraj said this shows the AAP government doesn't like people asking questions about how they run things.
She talked about this at a press conference in New Delhi.
BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj accused the Punjab government of a planned attack on media freedom.
She claimed the AAP government misused state machinery to target the Punjab Kesari Group.
Swaraj compared the actions to media attacks during the Emergency period.
She stated that critical reporting against Arvind Kejriwal triggered the assault on the media group.
The press conference was held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
