Supreme Court to Hear Abhishek Upadhyay’s Ghaziabad FIR Plea

Supreme Court to Hear Abhishek Upadhyay’s Ghaziabad FIR Plea

The Supreme Court will hear a journalist’s challenge to a police case against him.

The case is about an alleged road-rage incident in Ghaziabad.

A motorcycle and a Baleno car were reportedly involved near Shipra Mall.

The complaint says the car driver abused and threatened the motorcyclist.

Journalist Abhishek Upadhyay says those accusations are false.

He believes the case is connected to his reporting about alleged problems with donations to the Ram temple and corruption in Uttar Pradesh.

He also says police came to his home and pressured shopkeepers about CCTV recordings.

The Supreme Court will consider his request to cancel the case or move the investigation to another agency.
