Anushka Sharma’s Chole Bhature Order Transforms Mumbai Eatery
Delhi Se was a small restaurant in Mumbai that was close to closing.
It had only three tables and nine seats.
The owners were struggling with about Rs 18 lakh in debt.
Comedian Abhishek Upmanyu ate there and recommended its chole bhature online.
Anushka Sharma saw the recommendation while looking for Delhi-style chole bhature for Virat Kohli.
She ordered food and later posted about the restaurant on Instagram.
Many people then rushed to the restaurant, creating a very large crowd.
The owners increased their cooking from eight kilograms of chickpeas to 100 kilograms in three days.
They now say Delhi Se has four outlets and sells thousands of plates each day.
