NIMHANS Launches Month-Long Mental Health Awareness Initiative
Imagine your brain is like a garden, and sometimes the plants (your thoughts and feelings) get a little out of control.
NIMHANS, a big brain hospital in India, wants to help people take care of their mental gardens.
They teamed up with the Ministry of AYUSH to start a month-long program called AYUSH-MANN.
This program will teach people about different ways to help their brains, like using ancient Indian traditions mixed with modern science.
It includes activities like discussions, classes, and seeing cool displays.
They even have a mascot, an elephant named Swasthmaan, to help spread the word about taking care of your brain!
NIMHANS launched a month-long mental health awareness initiative.
The initiative is called 'AYUSH-MANN'.
It aims to highlight integrative approaches to mental health treatment.
The launch coincided with the 10th National Ayurveda Day.
