The Delhi government has opened a special centre to teach officers about artificial intelligence.

IT Minister Pankaj Singh inaugurated it at Vikas Bhawan.

The centre will show officials how to use AI in their daily work.

Lessons will include data analysis, writing official documents and creating presentations.

Officers will also learn about prompt engineering, which means giving useful instructions to AI tools.

Cybersecurity and responsible use of AI will be part of the training.

They were shown tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek.

The first training programmes will start on October 15.
