India Energy Week 2027 Targets Security Amid Global Oil Volatility
India will hold a large energy meeting in Kolkata in January 2027.
The meeting is called India Energy Week.
Leaders will discuss how countries can get enough energy at affordable prices.
They will also discuss cleaner energy and new technologies.
Global oil prices and supplies are facing uncertainty because of the war in West Asia.
India’s petroleum minister said Indian households have not faced shortages from these disruptions.
He said India has built resilience through varied supplies, storage, pipelines and refineries.
More than 75,000 energy professionals and 700 exhibitors are expected to attend.
India Energy Week 2027 will be held in Kolkata from January 28–31, 2027.
The event will focus on energy security, affordability, sustainability, technology, investment and partnerships.
Organizers say the conclave will address challenges linked to global oil-market volatility and tightening supplies.
Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said India’s diversified supplies and infrastructure have prevented household shortages.
The fifth edition is expected to attract more than 75,000 energy professionals and over 700 international exhibitors.
