Karnataka Drinking Water Projects Face Delays as Khandre Pushes Completion

Karnataka is working to bring safe drinking water to villages.

Most single-village water projects are nearly finished.

However, many multi-village projects are still waiting to be completed.

Minister Eshwar B. Khandre asked officials to speed up the work.

The government wants to use surface water to supply villages.

It is planning water needs for the next 30 years.

Officials also want to protect water sources that do not dry up easily.

Newly appointed engineers were told to finish the projects on time.
