Iran sees no reason to fear Pakistan-Turkey-Saudi security pact
Some countries made a new plan to help keep each other safe.
Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia are working together on security.
Iran heard about this plan.
Sometimes, when countries team up, other countries worry.
Iran said it is not worried at all.
Iran's spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, said the plan is not meant to hurt Iran.
He said the plan shows that these countries want to handle their own safety.
Instead of asking faraway outside countries for help, they use their own strength.
Iran thinks this is a normal change in the region.
So Iran said there is no reason to be scared.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday that Tehran sees no reason to fear a new security pact between Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Baghaei said the pact is not directed against Iran.
He said the pact reflects a shift in regional countries' approach to security.
Baghaei said regional countries are relying more on their own capabilities.
He noted the shift is toward relying less on outside powers for security.
