Gold and Silver Prices Rebound After Sharp Drop
Gold and silver prices went up and down a lot recently.
On Friday, they dropped a lot, but on Monday, they started to go up again.
Some people think this is because the U.S. dollar got stronger, and others think it's because of worries about the economy and politics.
Experts say that even though the prices dropped a lot, it's not a reason to panic because gold and silver are good for long-term investments.
They also say that the prices might go up again if things get better in the world.
Gold and silver prices rebounded on Monday after a significant drop on Friday.
Spot gold prices fell 1.5% to $4,793.97 per ounce, while US gold futures rose 1.6% to $4,818.10 per ounce.
Spot silver prices rose 1.6% to $85.98 per ounce after briefly falling nearly 12%.
The drop was triggered by a stronger U.S. dollar, global market weakness, and the nomination of Kevin Warsh as the next Federal Reserve chair.
Experts advise investors not to panic, as gold and silver are long-term hedges and not trading bets.
