Nipah Nurse Condition Improves, Other Remains in Coma
Two nurses in India got sick with a virus called Nipah.
One nurse is getting better and might not need oxygen soon, but the other nurse is still in a deep sleep called a coma.
Doctors and nurses are taking care of them in a special hospital.
The hospital also made new rules to keep everyone safe.
They tested many people who were around the sick nurses, and everyone else tested okay.
The hospital is slowly starting to do more regular treatments again.
One Nipah-positive nurse's condition improves, oxygen dependency decreases, and doctors consider removing oxygen support.
The other nurse remains in a coma.
State health department issues new guidelines on Nipah treatment, isolation, sample collection, and defining contacts.
More than 100 samples tested, all returning negative results.
Hospital staff under isolation as a precaution, all tested negative.
